WEBSITE PRIVACY NOTICE

Privacy at ZetaVault

Effective date: July 28, 2026

ZetaVault’s privacy practices are founded on the principles of the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection: transparency, proportionality, purpose limitation, data minimization, security, and individual control.

The ZetaVault website collects personal information only when you knowingly provide it through an email signup form. We do not use cookies, advertising trackers, behavioral analytics, social-media pixels, or cross-site tracking technologies. We do not sell personal information.

This notice applies to the public website at zetavault.ai. It does not govern the ZetaMem product, user accounts, or memory vaults. Those services will have their own privacy information before they become publicly available.

Who is responsible for your information

ZetaVault, Inc. is responsible for the personal information described in this notice.

For privacy questions or requests, contact:

privacy@zetavault.ai

Information we collect

When you submit an email signup form, we collect:

  • the email address you provide;
  • a source label identifying the ZetaVault form or page placement through which you subscribed; and
  • optional campaign information, such as utm_source, utm_medium, or utm_campaign, when you arrive through a campaign link.

Campaign information is collected only when it is present in the page address and you choose to submit the signup form.

The public website does not ask for your name, telephone number, mailing address, account credentials, payment information, or password. There is no public website login.

Why we collect it

We use signup information to:

  • send news you requested about ZetaVault, ZetaMem, our launch, Kickstarter campaign, beta availability, and related developments;
  • administer the signup list;
  • identify which ZetaVault form or campaign produced a signup; and
  • maintain the integrity and security of the signup system.

We do not use this information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

Cookies and tracking

ZetaVault does not use cookies, advertising pixels, behavioral analytics, social-media trackers, or cross-site tracking technologies on this website.

We collect information only when you knowingly provide it through a ZetaVault form.

How information is transmitted and stored

Signup forms send information through a ZetaVault website endpoint to the ZetaVault Gateway. The record is then stored in a database operated for ZetaVault.

Your email address is transmitted in the request body. It is never placed in the website address or URL.

We use infrastructure providers to host, deliver, secure, and operate the website, Gateway, and database. These providers may process information on ZetaVault’s behalf only as necessary to provide those services.

Signup information is not currently sent to a third-party email-marketing, advertising, or analytics platform.

When information is disclosed

ZetaVault does not sell personal information.

We do not disclose signup information to advertisers or data brokers.

Information may be disclosed:

  • to infrastructure providers operating services on ZetaVault’s behalf;
  • when reasonably necessary to protect the security or integrity of our systems;
  • when required by applicable law, court order, or valid legal process; or
  • as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, acquisition, or sale of company assets, subject to appropriate data protections.

How long we keep information

We retain a signup record while you remain subscribed or continue to interact with ZetaVault communications.

Unless retention is reasonably necessary for legal, security, or dispute-related purposes, inactive signup records will be deleted no later than 24 months after the last communication or interaction associated with them.

You may request deletion sooner at any time.

After an unsubscribe request, we may retain the minimum information necessary to record that request and prevent the address from being added back to the mailing list.

Your rights and choices

You may ask ZetaVault to:

  • confirm whether we hold personal information about you;
  • provide access to the information associated with your email address;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • delete your information;
  • stop sending marketing communications; or
  • explain how your information has been used or disclosed.

You may make any of these requests by writing to:

privacy@zetavault.ai

We may need to confirm that you control the relevant email address before completing a request. Information supplied for verification will be used only to evaluate and fulfill that request.

We will respond within the period required by applicable law. Some requests may be subject to lawful exceptions, including information reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, protect system security, preserve an unsubscribe instruction, or resolve a dispute.

International data processing

ZetaVault is a United States corporation. Information may be processed in the United States or in other countries where ZetaVault or its infrastructure providers operate.

When information is processed across national borders, ZetaVault applies safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and the processing involved.

Where applicable law provides additional privacy rights, ZetaVault will honor those rights.

Security

ZetaVault uses administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect signup information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, misuse, or loss.

No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If you believe information submitted to ZetaVault may have been compromised, contact:

privacy@zetavault.ai

Children

The ZetaVault website and signup list are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the signup form.

A parent or guardian who believes a child has submitted personal information may contact privacy@zetavault.ai to request its deletion.

External links

The ZetaVault website may link to websites or services operated by other organizations. Their handling of personal information is governed by their own privacy notices, not this one.

Swiss privacy framework

ZetaVault has chosen the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection as the foundation for its privacy practices. Its principles reflect the kind of relationship ZetaVault intends to maintain with every person whose information it holds: collect only what is needed, explain why it is needed, protect it, and preserve meaningful individual control.

Official information about Swiss data-protection law is available from the Swiss federal authorities:
